Record Grading

M   These are absolutely perfect in every way

M-   Records are shiny, with no visible defects / Covers are free of creases,
ring wear and seam splits of any kind

VG+  Records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience / cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split

VG   Record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible / Covers will have many signs of human handling, can have visible creases, tears, seam split…

G   A record in Good or Good+ condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. Cover can have seam splits, tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and will almost certainly accompany the playback
